New Year, New Gear....

2010 is shaping up to be a good year for gear. There are a couple of new releases coming our way.
Carinthia is releasing a new rain suit in a new Gore-Europe fabric called Salina. A step above Paclite, this suit comes in sizes and can be worn over or under your DPCU/DDPU's. Also to be availale this winter is the new Reversible Jacket and Trousers. The bigest change is the colours. They are now olive and khaki and much better suited to Australia. Improved cut and zips make this jacket a Snugpack killer!
Best of all, a stowable-hood version of the MIG is being made for the most well-known European SF unit, and may be made avaiable to us as well. Wait and see!

Belleville is releasing a TR Kiowa in Olive with Crye Multicam panels. If the US multicam fans don't take them all, we will have them available around March.

Happy New Year and if you've been hanging for a pair of M590's, get them now while we have good stocks. They'll go quick when everyone's back from leave!

30th August 2009.
New MIG Jacket from Carinthia.

Most of us have a 'Hardface' type polar fleece jacket, mine is from SORD, but they're designed for mild winter conditions and not much use when it gets really cold and snowy. The new MIG jacket from Carinthia is the answer. A cross between the tactical style of a hardface and the G-Loft Windstopper, the MIG jacket has sleeve pockets, a forearm pocket, two chest and an internal pocket, and a fixed, insulated hood with fleece collar. The jacket is also waist length, keeping it out of the way of your hips and belt gear. Avaiable in black and olive, this is one to take with you to 'stan for the winter.

13th June 2009
New Boots from Tactical Research.

We were taken a bit by supprise by the launch of the Tactical Research brand of aussault boots. Whilst it's been on the drawing board for a while, it came up pretty quick! Tactical Research is a new arm of Belleville tasked with producing cutting edge techology footwear. We know Belleville has been at the front all the timebut now they've moved the goalposts futher away from the others with the launch of the KIOWA and PALADIN models. The PALADIN is a terrific light-weight safety boot with side zipper, but it's the KIOWA that made us sit up! This boot has to be the best looking tactical boot I have seen, but better that that, it is also the most technologicaly advanced and promises an unprecedented level of performance. So, get in touch with us or your nearest Belleville retailer to pre-order now. Available from the 22nd June.

2nd June 2009
Defence and Industry Conference 2009.

PremierDefence Agencies, our parent company will be displaying at the D+I COnference in Adelaide from the 29th June to 1st July at the Adelaide convention center. We're not sure if there is a defence day for members of the armed forces, but keep an eye on www.defenceandinductry.com.au On display will be Belleville's main combat and flight models along with cold weather clothing and a bag-in-bag sleep system.

Belleville's Moving Fast!

Belleville M590's are moving hand over fist! But don't worry, we're making sure stock levels stay high and will be adding even more sizes to the range. Of all the defence approved boots, we have the widest range of sizes, and better availability.

We might soon start with the waterproof version of the M590, the M500 Infantry Combat Boot (ICB). If you're interested, email us and let us know.

'Grey' Imports of Belleville and Carinthia.

Most of you know that Cool Kit is now a trading arm of Premier Defence Agencies Pty Ltd, and that as PDA we now supply a number of other retailers.
This has frightened a few of our less capable competitors and whilst they have not contacted us about being supplied, they have been trying to get around it by purchasing from third-party distributors in the USA and Asia. Whilst we are the distributors for these products, we can't stop competitors from buying them from other retailers overseas, however, both factories are cracking down on this and warning their US retailers not to do it. What this means for you, the consumer, is this:

  1. If you have purchased a Belleville or Carinthia product from anyone other than our listed retailers, Premier Defence Agencies and Coolkit CAN NOT do the following:
    1. Provide Warranty Repair or Replacement .
  2. Exchange for incorrect sizing.

This has been happening and the refusal often offends, but we are not going to service a product that we didn't sell. The factories record batch numbers of the items shipped to us, know who they sold those to, and will not deal with products they didn't sell to us.

You will have to return the product to where you purchased it, who will return it to where they purchsed it, who will then approach the factory. This will take a lot of time and due to the extra costs, the people who sold it to you will more than likely try to avoid you as they will loose money on the sale.

PDA, Coolkit and it's reatilers still offer the better price and service and we know what the products cost, and we know that our competitors a paying far too much for them, and that you will be paying far too much as well.

We are tired of these people who can't make their own businesses work and need to constantly try to screw everyone around them with overpriced goods and poor service. We will always strive to serve the Australian Defence Forces to the best of our ability and to uphold the excellent reputations of our manufacturers.

We look forward to providing our customers with the right product at the right price, always.
