Austri-Alpin Prium ID Carabiner

PIRUM - Latin for 'pear' - is specially designed for situations where more space is needed, for example, as a central carabiner or for working with ropes with thicker diameters. The form is specially designed to sit naturally in your hand without reducing its strength: it is certified for 30 kN. With a wide gate clearance, this carabiner minimizes the risk of getting fingers caught while clipping.   This shape is also handy for using the carabiner as a handle on expedient strethers, to clip to gear as a drag handle or on an EOD line pull.   The unique ID number etched into it also lets you know it's yours.
