Stepping into the air sports space, the POWERFLY is a strong stainless-steel carabiner for 25/45mm paragliding harnesses, but this doesn't mean you can't use it for other applications! Equipped with the special Slide Autolock gate this air sports carabiner provides a maximum of safety, reliability, and durability. Due to its very high breaking strength, it is the ideal partner for Tandem and Acro pilots.
The carabiner’s gate has been designed to minimize gate play when closed. This minimizes the negative effects of constant vibration stress on the carabiner and wear and tear on pins. The Slide Autolock mechanisim has proven itself as a reliable locking mechanisim, without lock manipulation, yet you can easily and quickly open it single-handely, by just pressing the portected slider.
Due to the higher breaking strength of stainless-steel carabiners compared to aluminum carabiners, AUSTRIALPIN generally recommends using only stainless-steel carabiners for tandem flights. The corresponding marking on the carabiner is the abbreviation "mono+bi".
The unique shape of the POWERFLY carabiner is designed for the use of 25/45 mm webbing only, which suits common widths in both airsports and miltary applications.
The maximum service life is reached after 1500 flight hours or 5 years from first use. There is no usage limitation in non-air applications.
