Returns Policy

We accept returns for goods that are recieved damaged, incorrect (our fault) or have a warranted defect.    We do not accpet returns where the goods have been worn/used or you have changed your mind so please choose carefully and if in doubt, ask us.

Returns may be accepted for incorrect fit where you have taken all reasonable steps to ensure you have chosen the correct size.    Ensure you have read the sizing page and have your correct size/fitting information before ordering.    If in doubt, ask us.

Where a return is required, we will exchange or refund you if an exchange is not available.  If exchange goods are not available, you may be offered a waiting time until they are available however you can choose to decline this offer and accept the refund.

Exchange or refund offers do not apply to discontinued or discounted items, except where the reason is a warranty issue.    However, we may choose to do so at our discretion.

Where a return is approved that is not our fault, customers must pay the return postage and any postage incured to replace the goods.

Where a refund is offered on a return that is not our fault, the amount refunded will be less the original cost of postage.     Where an item is imported for your specific order, any return will be less the cost of local postage AND international freight costs.

Items being returned must be properly packed and protected so that they are returned in a saleable condition.    Where we recieve a return that is damged or has damaged packaging due to improper packing before sending, we will return the item to you and no refund will be processed.

Where a return has been approved for International customers, Cool Kit Australia will need to have their returned goods recieved and examined before any futher action will be taken.
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail once we've received and processed the returned item.


Our products come with free shipping within Australia and it's territories.  This includes MILPO, ADF and HMA Ships at Sea addresses.

We ship with Australia Post and use Signature on Delivery service for most items.   If you require express post, please contact us before ordering.

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.   Especially where there is an exisitng supplier of the product.

Customers located in New Zealand and the United States of America can complete a purchase and checkout as a normal customer.    Ther is no need to contact us.

If you reside outside of Australia, New Zealand and the USA, please contact us for a shipping quote before ordering your items.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are volumetric weight-based. That is, we are charged at the weight calculated for the given size of the goods being shipped, not the actual weight, unless the actual weight is greater.

Goods and Services Tax on Exports

All products sold to an overseas location are "GST Free".   That is the local Goods and Services Tax is not applicable and will be removed at checkout, when you select your country of delivery.    This means that foreign customers pay 10%less thatn the shown price on the website.   To calculate what you will be paying in Australian Dollars (AUD), simply divide the price by 11 and that amount is the tax component of the price.
